Duties:

Under broad direction:

  1. Implement and develop direct automated information systems security policy, management and procedures of the work conducted within the facility at DSTO Melbourne.
  2. Play an active role in the security management of various NACC related DSTO activities located at Fishermans Bend, including the development of security awareness procedures and programs including mentoring of junior and senior management on security matters.
  3. Develop and deliver complex Information Systems solutions for the NACC project at DSTO Melbourne to ensure the achievement of information integrity, accountability, availability, non-repudiation and confidentiality.
  4. Prepare plans, procedures, conduct briefings and presentations regarding complex security issues.
  5. Liaise with ADF elements and non-Defence clients in relation to enhanced National Security outcomes.
  6. As required, represent NACC at the international and national forums.
  7. Provide financial accountability for NACC funded and externally funded security activities.
  8. Liaise, where appropriate, with ADF elements involved in National Security operations.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the DSTO supervisor or by the NACC Security Director.
