Position description:

You will be part of a team undertaking leading-edge defence research and development in DSTO�s Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Division.

The Division�s Information Operations Branch undertakes a wide range of research and development relevant to defence in the areas of information security, cyber-security, computer security, network survivability, and digital forensics.

You will bring to Defence a passion for expanding your knowledge and experience into new areas as well as established knowledge and experience in computer science with application in the following key areas:

� cyber-security security technologies, in particular network situational awareness, intrusion detection and digital forensics

� artificial intelligence, particularly knowledge representation, intelligent agents, ontologies, machine reasoning and knowledge fusion

� security analysis of computer network protocols and operating systems

� embedded and kernel level software development.
