What are the specifications for the Poster?

Format A0 vertical (i.e. W 841mm, H 1189mm) paper. Posters are often printed on a 120-150gsm stock and a thin laminated film applied so they can be rolled up and carried by hand in a cylinder.

Is the Poster an enlarged version of the mini-paper, or is its content and style open to the presenter to define?

It should be closely aligned with your mini-paper. See an example of a science poster (low resolution) which may assist in layout and content.

Do you need to see the Poster before the conference?

No.

How do presenters deliver their Poster to the conference?

On arrival at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, approach the FLFC Registration desk for guidance on where to hang the Poster. Pins or touch fasteners required to hang the Poster will be provided onsite.

All Posters will be displayed throughout the two days of the FLFC. Poster presenters are required to staff their Posters during the morning and afternoon tea breaks on both conference days. Delegates may also visit the Poster display during conference lunch breaks.

Who is the audience?

Delegates to the Future Land Force Conference, include: academics, scientists, researchers, military personnel and industry representatives.

Does the Poster presenter need to register for FLFC even if they have registered for other events at Land Forces 2014?

Yes. To have their Poster accepted, the presenter MUST register separately for the Future Land Force Conference by 19 August 2014. Please note that registration to Land Forces 2014 as a trade visitor is no charge and should not be confused with registration to the FLFC 2014.
