Abstracts and full papers

Papers may fall into the categories of critical reviews, planning requirements, advances in science and technology, descriptions of new techniques or products, or lessons from current and previous activities.

Abstracts should not be longer than one (1) A4 page and should address the following:

  • Context for the work
  • A statement of the issues
  • Sufficient background material to describe the content of the paper
  • Approaches taken
  • Significant key results and findings
  • Potential application of the work and implications to Defence

Please prepare the abstract using abstract template and forward by email, at lwcabstracts@dsto.defence.gov.au.

Successful contributors will be notified as soon as practicable after the closing date.

The full paper must be typed onto a template, which will be available on the LWC website. All formatting must conform exactly to the template, otherwise it will be returned to the author.

Please note that the paper will not be included in the Conference Proceedings as well as in the Conference Program for presentation if not submitted by due date.

Acceptance of the paper for presentation does not waive the conference registration fee.
