Land Warfare Conference 2010 - Full Spectrum Threats: Adaptive Responses

Defence is now offering you an opportunity to become a Major Sponsor or a General Sponsor for the Land Warfare Conference 2010.

Land Warfare Conference,15 - 19 November 2010

Major Sponsorship is available for any one of the following categories:

Conference Exhibition - Industry exhibition is one of the major highlights of the conference. Last year over 165 industries participated occupying an area of 12,500sqm. For LWC 2010 exhibition area of
15, 000sq m has been secured over a period of 7 days providing opportunity for Industry to exhibit for just over 3 days. The total cost of hiring the Exhibition halls is just over $275K however the sponsorship is capped at $30k.

Conference Lunches - Conference lunches are attended by 1300+ on the first day, 1000+ on the second day and 600+ on the third day. In addition LWC will host Land Environment Working Group meetings on Monday the 15th Nov which is generally attended by over 700 industry delegates. The total cost of holding these lunches over a period of 4 days amount to over $160k. You can pick to sponsor any one of these days individually; we can cap the cost to $15k for Monday, $20k for Wednesday and $15K for the Thursday and Friday; or as a total package for four days at $35k.

Morning and Afternoon Teas - The morning and afternoon teas are generally held inside the Exhibition Hall. This is attended by approximately 1500-2000 attendees and cost approximately $75k over a period of three days. The sponsorship for this category is available at $20k for the duration of the conference.

Welcome Drinks - Welcome function will be held in parallel with registration. The aim is to attract delegates to register early to avoid a major rush the following morning and an opportunity to establish contacts in an informal environment. We expect about 1000+ delegates. The total cost of the function is estimated at $75k. The sponsorship is available at $15k.

Chairman’s Reception - This is a networking function with an aim for delegates to provide opportunity to meet and foster contacts in the beginning of the conference. We expect about 1200+ delegates and this function is attended by all the VIP’s. The total cost of the function is estimated at $90k. The sponsorship is available at $20k.

Cocktail Function - This function is of two hours duration and attracts 1000+ delegates and attended by all the VIP’s. The total cost of the function is around $80k; however the sponsorship is capped at $20k.

Conference Dinner - The conference dinner is one of the most talked about social events of the conference and attracts 1000 + delegates. Army band is generally in attendance to provide the entertainment. The total cost of the dinner is $130k however the sponsorship is capped at $30k.

Golf Day - Golf day provides a great opportunity for sponsors to meet and interact, discuss and make acquaintances with defence and industry personnel. Golf day includes all the fees paid as well as breakfast on arrival, morning tea/coffee, hospitality carts offering drinks, and a BBQ lunch. The day will conclude with the award of various prizes for the winners and strugglers. The golf sponsorship is available at $12k.

Morning Breakfast - This year CA’s exercise is part of the Army Week. This exercise is attended by all
1 star and above. The exclusive sponsorship for early morning breakfast with CA and its senior staff is available for Monday the 15 Nov, 2010. There will be approx 100 attendees and the number can go up. The breakfast sponsorship is available for 10k.

Plenary Session Sponsorship - This year we are offering Plenary Session sponsorship at $20k for the first day, $15K for the second day and $10k for the last day. Workshop (LEWG) sponsorship is also available at $10k.

Best Paper Award Sponsorship - This year we would like to introduce ‘BEST PAPER AWARD’ and the award sponsorship is available at $10k. The award will be named after the sponsoring organisation.

The following promotional opportunities are available based on the type of sponsorship, however we are open to suggestions and we would be happy to discuss any other activity that you may have in mind.

• Major sponsorship recognition in all conference and publicity materials.
• Exclusive branding of the function you choose to sponsor
• Guest Speaker (can be negotiated based on the type of sponsorship)
• Signage with company logo indicating that the event is sponsored (this could be discussed as there are various options which may involve a further charge)
• Complimentary conference registrations (number of delegates can be negotiated based on the type of major sponsorship)
• Additional Complimentary guest passes for Welcome drinks, Chairman’s reception, Cocktail function and Conference dinner (the numbers can be negotiated based on the type of major sponsorship)
  Distribution of advertising material.
• One free Exhibition booth
• A short write up about company activities in the Conference Program
• Other promotional opportunities as per negotiation

General Sponsorship

General Sponsorship is available at a sponsorship fee of $6000 (plus GST) and you will be entitled to:

• Sponsorship recognition in all conference and publicity materials. Your company logo will appear on all conference material including publicity brochures, proceedings, bags, program, signage, website etc
• One 3mx3m free exhibition booth.
• Opportunity to include your company’s advertising material within the conference bags
• A short write up about your company activities in the Conference Program
