The latest in maritime security will be found at PacSec 2010

Hosted by DSTO, this international forum will focus on the latest scientific outcomes and research directions in underwater security and defence technology.

With "undersea and above water sensor integration" as its central theme, this symposium will incorporate two streams:

1. Undersea Sensors and Networks
This stream will address the challenges presented by a distributed set of sensors operating in the undersea battlespace. It will include issues associated with establishing communications networks both underwater and between underwater and above water domains, as well as approaches to improving tactical awareness by combining information from multiple physically separated sensors.

2. Above Water Sensor, Information and Combat System Integration
This stream will explore the issues and opportunities afforded by integrating data from disparate above water sensor systems into a combat management system, including issues associated with the control of sensors that can be re-tasked.
It will also address the opportunities associated with incorporating non real-time information.

Admission

Admission to the symposium is free for all registered visitors and delegates at the PACIFIC 2010 International Maritime Exposition. Entry on  a first-come first served basis as seating may be limited.
