Space, Intelligence, National Security and Cyber

Space, Intelligence, National Security and Cyber Division leads the delivery of innovation and science and technology programs for Defence intelligence capabilities and joint operations.

Space, Intelligence, National Security and Cyber Division is a DSTG Program Division that works with Senior Defence colleagues to determine the most important issues that Defence needs to resolve with S&T - both now and in the future.

The Division addresses the Innovation S&T needs of JCG, DIG and ASD and operates across other Government Departments to determine key needs in National Security in order to formulate Strategies and Plans with those stakeholders. They then commission and coordinate research and development activities to deliver stakeholder needs and S&T output, supporting stakeholders to gain the outcomes they need from the S&T.

On behalf of CDS, the Space, Intelligence, National Security and Cyber Division manages the delivery of an element of the IS&T Delivery Program that includes Star Shots and AUKUS Pillar II collaborative efforts.
